On June 12th, 2005 supporters of the South Glens Falls Youth Baseball Program began a project to re-furbish field 1 at the Moreau Recreation
Park into our
very own “Field of Dreams.” Parents, local businesses and numerous
other community volunteers, dug in, dug up and dug out to get the job done. During the three-week makeover project we received assistance from over 30 volunteers. They helped dig up and disposed of the entire old infield and then replaced it with beautiful new grass
sod and red slate dust. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person for their time, energy and commitment to providing our children with a beautiful and safe ball field. A very special thanks to project manager Joe Blair and Rich Morris from
